PhD Geography, The University of Alabama

August 2023 - Present

I am currently a 1st year PhD Student at the University of Alabama. I am studying geography, with my primary focus being Geographic Information Science (GIS). My research area of focus is applying GIS and Location Science to Crime Analysis and Transportation Trends.

BS Geography, Sam Houston State University

August 2019 - May 2023

I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Geography with a Concentration in Geographic Information Systems and a Minor in Homeland Security Studies at Sam Houston State University. While obtaining my degree, I had a 4.0 GPA, which allowed me to graduate Summa Cum Laude. Being in the Honors College, I graduated with the Highest Honors and Academic Distinction in Geography by defending my thesis, which analyzed the application of Geospatial Intelligence in Crime Analysis.

High School Diploma, Timber Creek High School

August 2015 - May 2019

At Timber Creek High School I was the in the Law, Corrections, and Public Safety Endorsement under the Public Service Pathway. While taking Law Enforcement classes I was in the Law and Public Safety Club. During my sophomore year I was Vice President of the Law and Public Safety Club and President of my junior and senior years. I also participated in Student Council, Interact Club, and History Club. During my time at Timber Creek, I was on the Varsity Drill Team all four years and was in a leadership role as an officer my Junior and Senior year.
